Thanks for the suggestion. I can design PCB without any help, thank you. I am looking at this class because I would rather spend a day in a class getting information about the new software in a concise form from someone who knows it rather than stumbling my way through the little tid-bits found in the document they claim to be the DXP/2004 manual.

I don't think that Rick or any of the software designers can give you good advices how to design a board but they can help you learn their tools if you can't figure this yourself or at least tell you that you cannot accomplish what you want.
