I'm using an ATI Fire GL X2 card, with two 20.1" monitors at 1600x1200 via
DVI. It runns very well with no glitches etc. Its AGP but they have PCIe
versions too. I wouldn't have touched ATI a few years ago, but the new
workstation class cards are very good.

Don

The cards I am using are a Radeon X300 PCIx and a nVidia GeForce MX420 in
the PCI slot

But I got it a bit wrong, sorry, the X300 is being used as 1 x DVI 1 x RGB
and the nVidia as RGB.

It was the Parhelia that I used as 2 x DVI and when I updated the
workstation it did not have an AGP slot to use it in! it came with the X300
already fitted so I gave this config a try and it works well.

Actually I have seen less graphics and redraw related glitches than I did
with the Matrox card, but that could just as easily be my own perception.
