I see similar behavior in CAMtastic. I see the pad X'd out and what looks like a file path name in the center. They appear to be prevalent on rectangular pads. I've been unable to come up with the root cause. I didn't see this problem when I first used CAMtastic ... it suddenly appeared one day. I un-installed / re-installed CAMtastic to no avail. I think it must be a CAMtastic "switch" but I haven't found it.
The board house hasn't complained and I don't see these markers viewing gerbers with GC-Prevue.
I'd like to get rid of them, too!

Hi, when i import gergers into camtastic [exported from protel 99SE], on the Pads of components i see a marker. This is seen on all the component layers. [i use RS274-X format]
Q1. Will this be seen by my fab vendor as well [ i export after panelisation]? Q2. what are the means to switch off these markers and where do i do it?
