Hi John, As far as I'm aware, apart from the 'manual' browser, you haven't missed anything.
9 times out of 10 it is easier to make your own footprint, mainly for two reasons: 1 - It is usually quicker than searching through the Protel libraries. 2 - You get exactly what you want every time. It seems tedious at times, but worth it in the end.
