Hi John,

As far as I'm aware, apart from the 'manual' browser, you haven't missed
anything.

9 times out of 10 it is easier to make your own footprint, mainly for two
reasons:

1 - It is usually quicker than searching through the Protel libraries.
2 - You get exactly what you want every time.

It seems tedious at times, but worth it in the end.

Cheers,

TC

all,

does anyone know of a reliable way of searching for a footprint other than
looking through every library.... searching for symbols is quick and easy
with the find tool, but no obvious footprint find tool seems to exist.

have i missed something?
