Adeel,

If the pin1 is on the left when the notch is on the bottom, then pin1 will
be on the right when the notch is on the top.

The pin numbering is always the same, except the plug can be rotated 180deg.

Subject: [PEDA] RJ45 Pin Numbering Scheme for Notch at the Bottom and
notchat the top

Hi All,
RJ45 Socket which has a notch at the bottom of the package
(when looked from front) has its Pin1 on the left. I want to ask where
will be the Pin 1 for the RJ45 Socket which has its notch at the Top.

Can someone help me as I don't have the RJ45 Socket in hand that has
Notch at the top.

Regards,
Adeel Malik
