Jeyaraman,
The Acute Angle Constraint just doesn't work. It checks polygons which
have numerous acute angle violations (if it is anything but rectangular and
even if it is there are arcs and angles around clearance items) and it
erroneously reports short 225 degree jogs as less than 90 degrees. So give up
it is useless, I just went through the exercise a few weeks ago only to recall
why I had never used it for the past 5+ years.

Subject: [PEDA] Acute Angle DRC error for Polygon Fill

Hi All,

When ever I enable Acute angle on the DRC setting, I receive a longer list
which includes errors relating to polygon fill along with errors on traces.
I would like to see only the errors relating to my traces.

Could anyone guide me to any of protel tips and tricks [which I must have
missed] or advice on the methods to achieve the above.

The settings I use to fill my polygon are

minimum primitive size length - 3 mil
Grid size - 8 mil or 5 mil
track width - 10 mil or 8 mil

The DRC setting for acute angle is 'less than 45Degree'

S/W : Protel 99SE, SP6 running of XP

Thanks & Regards
