Any user is welcome to upload/download or other wise use
http://www.proteluser.com for posting footprints or symbols to share.

Autorouter, your kidding right?

I guess others can answer this better but I believe that the Electra
autorouter does a pretty good job but never used it myself.

On the right hand side you will see an article called

"Autorouting Techniques/ Using ELECTRA with Protel" written by Mike Reagan.

Not a lot of horrors, depending on if you choose to define NSMD or SMD BGA
pads and what pitch.

If you look at the manufacturers web site most have details and process
recommendtaions for layout and pad size/mask expansion/fanout etc.
Freescale, TI, AD, Xilinx 7 Altera sites would yield some interesting info.

Before Freescale, Motorola labs did a lot of process tests on their packages
including recommendations on fanout, vias and profiles/finishes.

What BGA will you use, I might already have some footprints anyway for
FLASH/SDRAM etc..
