AJ I have a AD seat, but I all I had to do was ask to see the other forums, PCAD etc and they added it to the access list.
I agree it seems crazy to keep the forums behind a login, but who knows the rationale. I would SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone who asked for access would be denied access. I did mention to them that hiding behind the login and giving the impression of excluding 99SE users was not a good move, you got a notice on this list shortly after that. Here is an Altium quote to me, hope they do not mind, I do NOT have a PCAD license but I used to read the PCAD email list with interest as a PCAD user (non AD bias) perspective of the bonus technologies was interesting. "As a licensed user of Altium Designer we want to give you access to any resource that might help you use the software successfully. Since reading the P-CAD forum helps you in using Altium Designer I have added you to the P-CAD forum" Does not seem like they want to exclude anyone with an interest in their software. Scare mongering. If anyone would rather rant about it than send an email and ask them (less energy & stress in just asking Altium), so be it.
