I'd second the recommendation to check width rules - make sure that the max. is 
set no smaller than the width you want to use.  It might be worth setting this 
up by creating a net class for power and adding a width rule to allow wider 
tracks than your defaults.

It could also be that you haven't selected 'lock preroutes' on the autorouter 
setup. Personally, being a bit paranoid after using earlier versions, I also 
manually lock preroutes using a global edit on all track segments.  This 
preserves the pre-routes but the autorouter will still sometimes add extra, 
redundant power tracks - easy to clean up as they aren't locked.
