Maybe you can make the My Documents functionality work for you, since it's there anyway? You can point the special folder "My Documents" to any path on your system. Just open the properties of My Documents and set the target to wherever is convenient for you. Then maybe you start wanting your files in "My Documents"... :) Mine points to E:\Docs. E: is where I have all my data (that is, as much as this is possible with Windows).
