Have you tried Design->Netlist_Manager then , pressing the MENU button in the lower left corner of the dialog there is a menu item "Update free primitives from component pads"
This should propagate the net names on the pads to the connected "primitive" segments. I had to ask this question some time ago (and is why/how I came to subscribe to the PEDA forum. (Thank you Techserv!) I have imported the files into Protel99se and everything is fine except for the Net connections. After updating the PCB, all the traces and vias still show "No Net". However, all the device pins (ie: the source of the Nets) show the proper Net. I have been unable to get the traces and vias to accept any Nets. Does anyone know how to do this? (other than manually inputting the Net into each trace and via one at a time) regards, Kurtis ____________________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the PEDA discussion forum To Post messages: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe and Other Options: http://techservinc.com/mailman/listinfo/peda_techservinc.com Browse or Search Old Archives (2001-2004): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Browse or Search Current Archives (2004-Current): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] ____________________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the PEDA discussion forum To Post messages: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe and Other Options: http://techservinc.com/mailman/listinfo/peda_techservinc.com Browse or Search Old Archives (2001-2004): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Browse or Search Current Archives (2004-Current): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
