Thank you very much for your quick reply. Would you mind giving me some tips on the procedure of using Specctra with AD. I have used it with 99se but I am in the learning process for AD.

yes, it is possible. The interface is slightly different, but was improved
compared to 99SE. I can't say much about the Situs router, as I never have
designs that simple that another router apart from Specctra would be
helpful. But for a four - six layer design, which is not too dense, it may
be ok.

The fanout feature in Situs is great, I prefer it to Specctra. I fan out
pads in Protel (AD2004) now.
