On the way, to your private address only. I had to strip out some
functionality; mostly the import links for automatic update from the Protel
BOM spreadsheet exports, as they contain client and product names encoded
in their paths. 

A few examples: I get lists with a first column being the distributor, the
second column being the dist number and the third being the quantity for
the required number of boards. I can expand that list, add the designator
column to create one line per component. I also have a list that starts
with the footprint (helpful for estimating board sizes and populating
boards). With a double click, that can expand and add any other, next
columns you need (part type, designator, whatever).

To work with pivot tables, you don't want Protel's normal BOM with
component quantities. You want one line per component, even for repeated
components, with all the data available, and then let the pivot table
consolidate the information.
