Dennis,
The subject line issue first showed for me on your initial response.
Darren's response didn't show anything. I have been seeing that for years on
the list server, especially spaces/blanks shoved into the subject. In some
cases you actually get punctuation/special characters inserted.

As for the PADs thing, well no it wasn't current. Hell I wasn't even
doing designs myself, just supervising and checking the guys that can't do the
design, right! Real frustrating. I have a problem with PADs because of the lack
of development they have done in almost the last 10 years. It is still just the
good ole DOS engine running under the Windows GUI, plenty of problems and
issues. I understand that the Blaze Router is supposed to be the way forward
but don't have time to seriously look at it, just checking what the guys were
doing in the regular ole PADs and straightening them out when they got
side-tracked.

Sincerely,

problem.Whatam I forgetting?

so who's working ? :)

'99SE' must be too close to the front of the subject

you have confirmed what i saw, it uses the MID value,
but this doesn't mean you are not getting senile

so how is PADs ? is it the current version ?

i am getting non print characters in the subject line (Tbird email)
are you using a multi line subject and maybe a carriage return ?

i have seen a bunch of these lately but only on this list i think
