Not to say you aren't correct (in theory), name one application that was perfect at release 1.0 and if it wasn't all bugs were fixed for free and only at that time a new feature was added (for free or not)??
No I'm not profiting from their sales directly. I do make a living using their tools and I prefer their tools over anything else in the price range. Sure there are bugs, I know that as well as everyone else on this list, but they move much faster to fix them and offer new features.
