The BOM Sorter by David Watling is a wonderful thing it is an xls macro
you make a BOM from the schematic in CSV form and it will combine the one item per line entries into groups of like components, give the total count (quan per) and offers formatting like C1,C4,C7-C15,C32 below is a thread i saved, somewhere at the bottom is the info where to get it the version info listed here may be stale ****************************************** SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET I love this macro already. All I can say is that this Protel discussion list rocks. I am on a couple of discussion lists for different programs and this one is the best list. I am always surprised at how much the know and how helpful they are. You guys ROCK! Yes sometimes there is a little flaming but that just reminds me that I am using the internet.
