Steve, Brad Thanks. Just the solderpaste not the pad or solder mask, right? And the homeplate is within the shape of the pad so two corner under the component don't get any paste, right?

As Steve stated the solderpaste aperture is shaped like home base in baseball. The triangular end reduces the amount of solderpaste deposited under the metalized contact of the chip component. So for a simple chip component you end up with two home base shaped apertures pointing towards each other. Camtastic 2000DE has a tool for homeplating, it is under Tools, SMT Utilities, Homebase Pad Conversion. Not perfect in it's operation, it sometimes pulls some stupid little tricks on you like altering two pads that weren't actually a component pair.
