Hello,

as I learned these days, I can't change a docs preferences in batch mode,
unless I write/modify a server. So I have to find a work-around.

What I want to do now is: Press a button in the toolbar ---> a dialog popup
with a TextBox "Revisioninformation, that should be updated".

<<<<<<<<<<snip>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sub Main()

Begin Dialog DialogBox1 58,60,250,80, "Update Document Preferences"
Text 2,2,280,12, "Please fill in update information for 'Revision':"
       Text 2,14,100,12,"Rev."
       TextBox 80,14,148,12,.DOCrevision
       OKButton 56,60,40,12
       CancelButton 110,60,36,12
    End Dialog
    'End of dialog definition
Dim MyDlg As DialogBox1 ' Dimension object variable for dialog.
Dialog MyDlg ' Display the dialog.
'*************************************************
    Call ResetParameters
    Call AddStringParameter ("Revision",MyDlg.DOCrevision)
    Call RunProcess ("SCH:DocumentPreferences")
End Sub
<<<<<<<<<<snap>>>>>>>>>>>>

This works already, but when I switch to a other .SCH-sheet and start my script
again, the TextBox .DOCrevision is (of course) empty. :-(

Does anybody know, if I can intialize the TextBox with the value I filled in
before?

regards
Christian
