One thing I don't understand. I have set my default preferences for Comment and Designator in schematics (for both MILs and MMs) yet everytime I place a component it goes to the AD default of Times Roman 10pt.
I have saved the preferences in a multitude of places including My Documents (where AD went after I selected `Save') as well as the relevant AD folder in Applications under Documents and Settings. Where is the correct place to save these files (advsch.dft, advsch.mmdft, DXPPreferences1.DXPPrf, advpcb.dft..... how many files does it need?). Also what is the differences between all of these? Why does the Schematic and PCB Default Units pages have 2 `save' boxes and what is saved in what?????
