I do not believe you can "export" the files you must "generate" them. in
2004 you can create a "job file" then go to the gerber section and add the
layers you want to create also create a drill file and any other files.
Gerbers are created not "exported" or "saved as".

In 99 you go to "file" "new" "cam output configuration" quite similar to the
"job file" above again you need to make choices about layers etc.

In 98 you go to "file" "setup printer" "protel Gerber rs274" then fill in
the layers and other options you need. Also you need to then run the NC
drill under "reports"

Good luck

 Hello again,
First, I'd like to thank you very much for your response.
In any case, the only way I found was to convert the files to the old
Protel 99 .PCB format, and then to export them with the extensions GBL, GTL,
GTO, GBO,.. But checking them with the Camtastic, all I saw on my monitor
was a very distorted "draw" - and not the Gerber as I knew before.
In any case I'd like to thank you again,
Ridgh

Ridgh,

If you've managed to generate the gerbers, they are probably saved on your
hard drive. Look for file names as your PCB and extensions GBL, GTL, GTO,
GBO..
They are automatically open in Camtastic, which is the gerber viewer.
If you like to save them from there, you have to use File/Export gerber (not
File/Save).

To generate the drill file look for NC Drill files.
The drill file normally has DRL extension but in Altium designer it's TXT.

I'm not sure how the output files are set & generated in DXP-2004 version
but to do this in Altium Designer
6.7 you have to create an output job file and run the batch from there.
