Ridgh,
The *.apr file contains the apertures used in the Gerber files.
Assuming you have used RS274X formatted Gerber output, the *.apr file is kind
of redundant. While it is redundant, I wouldn't suggest throwing it away, just
keep it with your files in case someone has difficulties with your files, the
aperture file may come in handy to them.

In your list of files I do not see a Drill file. The actual NC drill
information to be read into the fabricators drilling machine, not the pictorial
for human viewing *.gd1 file. Did you configure a NC Drill file output when you
configured your Gerbers? The NC Drill file generation creates three files,
*.drr, *.drl & *.txt. The *.drr file is a simple text report of the various
hole sizes and the count of the number of times it is used. The *.drl file is a
machine formatted drill file (not normally used in my experience but 1 time I
did need it). The *.txt file is the most commonly used drill NC file, it lists
the precise locations and the drill sizes of each drilled hole.

Good Luck Ridgh, you are getting there. Welcome to the world of PCB
design/fabrication, you will soon know the industry standard for transferring
files to a PCB fabricator, Gerber and NC files. It isn't sending plots or
pictures these days. 8^>

Dear friends,
I really wish to thank you all for the efforts, time spending and the
extraordinary good will of all of you.
I think I've succeeded, at last partially. I can see now all the layers I
need (the Top and Solder mask) - and I wrote "partially" because there is a
layer that I cannot see (maybe I'm not supposed to see) - the hole places. I
got 8 files: .apr, .GD1, .GG1, .GM1, .GTL, .GTS, .REP and .RUL
The only one which I cannot see I Camtastic (I'm getting a black screen) is
the .apr file.
I really appreciate all you've done for me :)
As my local time is now 2:30AM, and I'm near my PC about 12 hours... I think
I'll have to "retire" for several hours.
If you may have any ideas about the .apr file - I'll be very thankful of
course.
Sincerely yours,
Ridgh
