We continue to have a problem with Google's gmail filter keeping some peirce listers from receiving messages from the peirce-l server. Google has made the filter stricter during the past year or so. I've read that there are increasing problems with spam. Anyway, the Google gmail filter mainly affects recipients who have Google gmail.
I see that people are not deleting multiple threaded copies of the footer in their replies. That seems to bother Google. There was less of it when some people took care to delete the footers. Often enough there's a lot of junk code in their messages, as if they composed in a word processing program then pasted into the email message. Maybe that bothers Google. I'll suggest that they compose directly in their email program, also that they use plain text, not html. Those two things might help. - Ben Udell, co-manager, for himself and Gary Richmond, co-manager and moderator PEIRCE-L
