The next session of the Logica Universalis Webinar will be this coming Wednesday, September 16 at 4pm CET:
Speaker: Ioannis Vandoulakis https://philpeople.org/profiles/ioannis-vandoulakis Title: Logic in All Its Dimensions Festschrift for Jean-Yves Béziau's 60th Birthday , Vol. 1 Abstract: The first of the three volumes of a collection of papers in honor of the sixtieth birthday of Jean-Yves Béziau will be presented. The papers have been written by outstanding logicians, mathematicians, historians, and philosophers of logic, and they reflect the current state of the art in research on universal logic and its applications. The book covers a wide range of problems across various fields, including general logic, non-classical logic, the square and other geometrical figures of opposition, philosophy and history of logic, as well as the cultural patterns of thought and the rational or irrational features of love. The volume offers insights that will be of interest to all students and researchers interested in the nature and future of logic. This first volume represents a remarkable international scholarly achievement, bringing together 44 individual contributors from 20 countries across five continents. With 31 substantial papers spanning a total of 655 pages, the volume reflects both the exceptional breadth of its international participation and the richness and diversity of the research it brings together. https://link.springer.com/book/9783032373274 Chair: Francesco Paoli Editorial Board Member of the Book Series Studies in Universal Logic https://people.unica.it/alophis/members/paoli-francesco/ Everybody is welcome to join, register here on Cassyni (if not done yet): https://cassyni.com/register and access the session here: https://cassyni.com/s/logica-universalis The zoom link will be available 30mn before the start of the session on the following page: https://cassyni.com/events/F2aDokEakvhm6dFoRWZzkm >----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jean-Yves Beziau Organizer of the Logica Universalis Webinar Founder and Editor-in-Chief Logica Universalis Logic Area Editor of the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy https://sites.google.com/view/jyb-events/ >
