Dear Peirce Congress Attendees and Possible Attendees, 1. We have posted a revised draft of the Congress program on the conference website: http://peirce-foundation.org/2014.html This draft includes, among other things, the complete roster of chairpersons and respondents for the plenary sessions and a number of corrections that were pointed out to us after we distributed the previous draft to all Congress participants a few weeks ago. With those mistakes now corrected, the Program Committee co-chairpersons have begun the work of assigning chairs to contributed paper sessions (you will be assigned to chair a session only if you explicitly volunteered to serve in that capacity). We hope to have the final draft of the program, with all session chairs assigned, posted in early May. 2. I heard back from several people in response to my recent request to those who have not yet reserved a room at the conference hotel (the UML Inn and Conference Center) or the overflow hotel (the Marriott Courtyard), letting me know their plans. That information has been very helpful--my thanks to everyone who has responded so far! As of now, there are 59 people who are on the conference program who have not yet booked a hotel room at either hotel, and who have not yet responded to my request for information about their plans. There are only 26 rooms left in our block at the Marriott Courtyard and we anticipate that all of them will sell out soon. So we need to know as soon as possible whether we will need to expand our block.
