Sungchul Ji wanted to share this with you: Hi,
Sheldrake's biological theory is rooted in Peirce's theory of habits. One support for his theory may come from my recent findings that the blackbody radiation-like equation (BRE) (also called 'generalized Planck equation', GPE, or the 'Planck distribution' in analogy to the Gaussian distribution) applies to data from atoms, cells, brains, and the cosmos (see "Theoretical and Experimental Evidence for the Energy Quantization in Moleucular Machines and Living Cells" at http://www.conformon.net under Posters and Seminars), since these unexpected findings may indicate that the wave-particle duality principle (resulting from the quatization of energy suggested by the Planck's blackbody radiaton equaiton) may be implicated in all phenomena in the Universe and the human mind be biased for matter (or particle) and blind to wave that connect everything (as Sheldrake's morphic resonance implies). Contemporary biomedcial sciences are biased for matter/partcle and against waves. After attending the EMBO/EMBL Symposium on Molecular Machines held in Heidelberg, Germany, May 18-21, I came away with the impression that biological processes on the molecular and cellular levels cannot be accounted for by the traditional particle/structure approach alone but require the particle-wave dual/complementary approahce. The same may be true for understanding human consciousness. S. Ji Rupert Sheldrake - The Science Delusion BANNED TED TALK http://shar.es/VKn6L This video from the TEDx youtube channel.
