Sung,

“Peirce’s more developed series of ten trichotomies” is given in EP2:483-91;
also CP 8.345 ff.

Dear Frederik,

On p. 206 of NP in Footnote 1, you wrote

"The trichotomy is the second out of Peirces's three major trichotomies,
referrig to the sign's relation to itself, (123014-1)
to its object, and to its interpretant, respectively. In Peirce's more
developed series of ten trichotomies from
his later years, it is the fourth."

This statement confuses me as, I guess, it may many others on these lists. Can
you clarify what you mean by "it" (although I presume you mean the trichotomy
of icon, index and symbol) and by "the fourth" and how these two can be related
?

Thanks.

Sung
