This is an important observation. In mathematical /systems science terminology of the 21 st Century, CSP usage of the term “habit” can be compared with the notion of “quasi-stationarity”. Thus, its usage would not exclude chaotic or other non-linear phenomena, such as biological reproduction or the steering of perplex dynamics by cybernetic processes. Cheers Jerry
