The 37th congress of the ASPLF will take place March 26-31, 2018 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil under the auspices of the Brazilian Academy of Philosophy. ASPLF is: Association des Sociétés de Philosophie de Langue Française.
The ASPLF congress takes place every two years in a different country bringing together French-Speaking philosophers from all over the world. At the 37th edition in Rio there will be 10 invited speakers from Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, France, Japan, Tunisia, etc. The deadline for contributing talks is: September 15, 2017. For every edition there is a topic, for this edition it is IMAGINATION. This edition of the ASLPF is organized together with "A Night of Philosopghy", an event created by Mériam Korichi who previously took place at ENS-Paris (2010), in London (2012 and 2013), in Berlin (2014), in New York City (2015), in Helsinki (2016), at UNESCO-Paris (2016). This edition will take place in Copacabana the nigth of March 31st 2018 following ASPLF 37, starting at the sunset up to the dawn of April 1st, 2018.
