Dear PEIRCE-L members,
IUPUI is beginning today a migration of the IUPUI.edu domain to a
temporary "pilot" domain. Here's some tweaked clips from the information
page about It.
Email will continue to be delivered during the maintenance window, but
due to the switchover to the pilot domain, some messages to lists being
migrated may bounce. Any messages that bounce may be re-sent following
completion of the upgrade.
During the list's time at the pilot domain, you can continue to send
mail to the SAME list address you've always used. Addresses like
[email protected] will be set to automatically redirect to
[email protected] . Email messages will appear slightly
different in that they will contain the pilot address. Emails sent to
the pilot address will also get through, for a while.
After all campus domains have been moved to the pilot domain, UITS will
revert all lists back to the standard domains, removing the pilot domain
support. That migration back to the standard domains is currently
scheduled for March 21, 2021.
Following that final migration, you should send all email messages to
the list address you used before the upgrade, [email protected].
The pilot address will no longer function.
