Chevron Makassar Ltd. has immediate openings for the following
positions to be based on the offshore fields, Deepwater West Seno,
Kalimantan Operations. Prospective candidates should be Indonesian
citizen possessing high motivation, initiative, and integrity.

Marine Technician
Possess Diploma in marine academy/polytechnic
Approximately 2 years of experience in charge of ballast
systems, cargo handling and Mooring operations
Experience in oil and gas floating facilities (FPSO, semi
submersible, TLP, etc.) will be an advantage
Certification in Industrial/Marine Fire Fighting as well as
certification as a Lifeboat Coxswain will prove advantageous to the
applicant
Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
Strong leadership skills, high energy and good team work
spirit
Good communication skills, including good command of English
language both spoken and written with minimum 500 equivalent TOEFL
score
Have willingness to work on shift schedule, on/off cycle and
multitask environment in offshore
Experience in HSE and Safety awareness
Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of oil
spill response equipment is preferential
Proficiency with PC based software (Microsoft Office)
Applicants must be in above average physical condition as
heavy lifting and climbing (stairs & ladders) are routine obligations
