In Deep Trouble over EMSA Threat Jul 20, 2011 Philippine maritime industry is seriously in deep trouble if the European Maritime Safety Administration (EMSA) make good in its threat of making life difficult for Filipino seafarers onboard oceangoing vessels coming into European ports should the Philippines fail to comply with its 2006 recommendations on seafarer education and training.
