The Company is currently seeking a Technical Superintendent, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia Responsibilities: 1. Conduct "day to day monitoring" the performance of the ship to ensure that ships are operated by the Company has fulfilled all the requirements of SOLAS, Flag / Flag / Port State, Class and the charter party set. 2. Monitor the implementation of Planned Maintenance Systems / PMS [Planned Maintenance System] including the implementation of the Safety and Quality Management System on board in order to ensure the security and safety of the ship and crew. 3. Identifying the needs of repair and maintenance of ships, including dealing with damage reports from the crew, supervising the procurement and supplies stores [consumable] and ship spare parts and provide suggestions for improvement include the cost of necessary repairs. 4. Monitor and oversee the implementation of docking include: Setting up a docking specification [dry dock specification], analyze the bidding contractors, addressing the needs of [stores, spare parts] ship. 5. Monitor the status of the survey-class [intermediate surveys, special surveys, etc.] ship and prepare the implementation of the surveys required include a visit to the ship and follow up periodically with the findings suggest improvement each vessel damage is detected. 6. Assisting the Insurance [Insurance Department] to prepare the necessary documents for the claims and coverage. 7. Prepare and provide periodic reports on the condition of the vessel [speed, fuel, lubricating oil, etc.] to the Fleet / Technical Manager. Qualifications: Minimum education ATT II is preferred or Degree in Marine Engineering or Ship Building Minimum 2 (two) years experiences as Technical Superintendent, Having experience as Class I Chief Engineer on oil (Crude/Product) and/or chemical carrier will be advantage Familiar with ISM code and ISO requirements Proficiency in English both spoken & written Computer literary Willingness to travel abroad if you are a suitable match for this position please send your application, CV, salary expectation, recent photograph, and position applied on subject email to [email protected] ------------------------------------ 1.
