Description
For one of our clients we are looking for a E/I Tecnician.
Your responsibilities as a E/I Technician will be:
* Is responsible for operating the plant and the execution of first
line maintenance/troubleshooting
* Prepares work orders for electrical and instrumental corrective
maintenance work
* Gives service- and sub- contractors electrical and instrumental
support or coordination if needed
* Marks up drawings after modifications and checks revised drawings
* Demonstrates HSSE leadership throughout the organization
* Adheres to the applicable safety regulations for the location of all
locations and offices
* Performs Work permit activities and supervision during Concurrent
operations
* Provides supervision during construction
* Witnesses as required during construction and pre-commissioning
* Starts-up the facilities as part of the shift team
* Develops and executes the Safe isolation and Decommissioning
procedures and activities
* Reviews the Start-up and Plant Test procedures
* Reviews Operating and Maintenance procedures
Requirements
The requirements for the ideal candidate for the position of E/I Technician are:
* MTS electronics, measurement and controls or ICT diploma with the
commitment and the skills to graduate VAPRO-C diploma
* A minimum of 5 years experience: preferable in natural gas operations
* Experience in engineering and construction is an advantage
* Experience in commissioning and start-up is an advantage
* VCA VOL Certified
* ATEX certified
* NEN-3140 Qualified person
* NEN 3140 Work responsible
* High Voltage qualified person
* Demonstrated record and leadership in HSSE
* People skills
* The ability to supervise operators and contractors
* Good communication and analytical skills
