years ago, I was talking to Bob Benson, a prof. at Loyola Law School (which
LMU owns) about this. He said that in practice, the Anglo-English and
Napoleonic Code systems work pretty much the same way, even though they
have different starting points, in terms of presumption of guilt or innocence.
