I understand that the Chinese Government sentenced 9 people to upto 20 years at hard labor for political organizing (that's the PRC not ROC.) At the same time, the PRC is applying to join the GATT. Anyone know about where one can write the GATT bureaucrats in Geneva and if throwing dissidents into jail can jeprodize GATT membership?
