I nearly agree. My point touched obliquely on the topics raised by
Wood, as it is my wont to touch on things obliquely. The point is, though,
how could current marxists (who are actually closet Keynesians) presume
to appeal to former radicals whose own sense of defeat arises out of the
failure of welfare capitalism to "go the last mile"?
