In a previous post, I relayed a press release from the Canadian Bankers
Association announcing their plans to launch a campaign of "better
understanding of economic and financial issues." The announcement specified
that they would be working with the Canadian Foundation for Economic
Education. Here is a brief description of that organization:

"The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) is a non-profit
educational organization. It was established in 1974 following a report
commissioned by the Canadian Bankers' Association, the Canadian
Manufacturers' Association, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the
Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association. The Foundation's mandate is
to increase awareness and understanding of economic matters, both
nationally and on a personal level."
