This position is subject to budgetary approval. Substantive areas should include any of the following: political economy, globalization, labor studies/sociology of work, urbanization. The department has a strong preference for a scholar with a Latin American regional focus. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Sociology and a demonstrated ability in research and teaching, including core courses in sociology.
