So Hillary Clinton says that Nader should be killed. (I know it's illegal
for someone to physically threaten a member of the First Family, but what
about vice-versa?) Thomas Friedman, seemingly the chief ideologist of the
NY TIMES in this era of corporate globalization, thinks that old Ralph
should be exiled to North Korea. Now given the way that Friedman
psychoanalyzes Nader (as his colleague, Paul Krugman, also an expert on
psychological diagnostics, also does) it seems more appropriate for the
elite to recommend the old Soviet solution to dissidents: he should be put
in a mental institution, if not a strait-jacket. Is that the wave of future
scapegoating?
