What was that idea about burying a heap of money and getting a heap of people
busy finding it and digging it up? I think those who are hanging on to stocks
or talking up 2002 bounces are as much as admitting emergency scatter-gun
pump-priming has gotta be next. So I add to Tom's list of passe bleats, 'the
free market'. To paraphrase poor partly prescient Rosa, ersatz socialism or
barbarism ...
