First of all, it's usually a bad idea once a participant's name
gets put in the subject line.

I am sympathetic to Andrew's work.  After all, I began working on
similar lines about the same time.  I have had articles rejected
by RRPE, when I was pretty sure that I knew that the editor had
different views than I did.  When I was on the editorial board,
I'm sure that some of the authors who received unfavorable
reviews from me must have felt similarly.

I'm not familiar with the case, but I think that the grounds for
legal action seem very unclear.
