Charles, what is _your_ job? is there anything associated with your job which would encourage anyone to dismiss your opionions without a serious hearing?
BTW, how do you distinguish between a _real_ economist and one such as Roach, who is a mere "economist," despite his Ph.D.s in the subject?
It should be noted that in the article that started this thread, Roach as much as admitted to ignorance of Asian matters. That rare kind of humility is something to be admired.
