You are wrong Jim. In economics, "rationality" means that preferences are complete and transitive. Of course, since that definition is too broad, economists then go into this or that restricted form of it, but the definition that rationality is those preferences that are complete and transitive is the superset of all definitions of rationality. I object to this kind of rationality and hence my objection to Doug's calling Lou toxic, Mark's calling Doug prat or a killer of Afghan babies, if he said that, Lou's intention to make Doug regret for what he said and all that. They all are fucked up. This "fucked-uppedness", in my view, is associated with that thing I call the western culture. Or maybe, we all are as fucked-upped as the westerners but how would I know?
