The idea that mankind is the product of an advanced civilization is an ancient doctrine and echoed in the theology of the Mormons and even the Nation of Islam, whose specific doctrine calls these advanced "aliens" scientists, tracing their heritage back some 6 trillion (yes, trillion) years. From recorded stories of the Indigenousness peoples, who speak of the "sky peoples" and "those who drive their planet," to the current writings of Zecharia Sitchin whose nine books have revolutionized linguistics and the materialist conception - approach, to history to the Eric Von Deniken's to the Neil Freer, whose "Breaking The God spell" and "God Games" reveal a lack of understanding of the elementary materialist conception; a vast body of literature exists that probes the question of man's origin.

It is Zecharia Sitchin, whose nine books are impeccably researched with breath taking source notes that has provided evidence of modern man's non-earth origins.  However, there is really nothing new in the idea of materially real beings re-organizing the biosphere of earth and guiding man in his advance to civilization or as it is called by Marxist, society. Old "Jewish" sacred text speaks of angels as emissaries or messengers of the Lord and master: real beings. The English translation of the "Book of Enoch" - in its three versions, is actually an ancient materialist document describing the emergence of science as a field of endeavor in human history in the context of the rise of evil as a material force. I personally prefer the Ethiopia text of "The Book of Enoch," as authoritative.

Zecharia Sitchin ground breaking book, "The 12th Planet" was released in 1979 and during the 1980s rocked the scientific community. It was quickly followed by his "The Stairway to Heaven," "The Wars of Gods and Men," "The Lost Realms," "When Time Began," "Genesis Revisited," "Divine Encounters" and "The Cosmic Codes." His latest work is the "Book of Enki."

Zecharia Sitchin asserts visitors from the 12th planet reorganized mankind in two ways, roughly 400,000 years ago. This date generally correspond with modern research using the mitochondria of DNA peculiar to female to trace the emergence of the women called Eve to Africa 350,000 years ago. This 12th planet is said to be the outer most planet in "our" solar system and orbits "our" sun once every 3600 years, traveling an orbital path opposite the movement of all the planets around the sun.

Mankind evolutionary advance is said to be the result of fusing genetic material from the advance people on Homo sapiens to produce what we call modern homo-sapien-sapien. The expressed purpose was to create a being to carry the toil of the "Gods" or as it is stated in the King James Version of the holy text, "there was no Adam to till the land." This man Adam (modern homo-sapien-sapien) was given his first means of production in the form of the hoe (some jokingly say "whore" or ho) and the plow.

In the language of the Marxist doctrine, this means that man's evolutionary advance - his qualitative emergence to homo-sapien-sapien, did not take place on the basis of the discovery of fire or under the impact of environment - population shifts driven by climate changes, or as described by the great Frederick Engels in his fragment, "The role Labor Played in the transition from Ape to Man," but by injecting into the man a qualitative new genetic substance, producing an evolutionary leap in the environment that is man.

This alleged 12th planet of Zecharia Sitchin was actually located by scientist at NASA, who gave Dr. Sitchin the honor of naming the planet because he projected its trajectory. NASA projected that the 12th planet has a mass 4 times the six of earth and is traveling a path that will place it within the planets orbiting our solar system in roughly 1100 years. NASA also confirmed the 12th planet is indeed traveling an orbital path opposite the planets in our solar system and speculate that this "opposite movement" may be the outer face of the movement of electrons as they cross paths providing the unity of materiality.

Zecharia Sitchin asserts that the "Gods" or more accurately the "Lords" and "Masters" or Nefilim - "those who fell from above," came to earth seeking gold. This gold was sought for several reasons, including its inherent quality as a conductor of electrical current and as particles to buttress the outer atmosphere of the 12th planet. After laboring 40,000 years a revolt amongst the workers took place and an immediate solution was to evolve early man to carry the "toil of the Gods." This act in turn produced an immense struggle within the "Gods" - many who felt it was a cardinal crime to alter the evolutionary course of a species.

Depending on ones point of view, the above tends to serve as an explanation of why Gold emerged in human culture as a "valuable" substance before the rise of commodity production and exchange or before the emergence of value in the commodity form.

The Israeli linguist and scholar Zecharia Sitchin has shaken the foundation of what is called "Jewish Theology," and presented evidence from Sumerian writings and pictures  - many from the British National Museum, to confirm his thesis. He was also spurred radical development in the world of linguistics and mathematical science, and indirectly launched the modern movement to change the base of modern languages from Latin to "Sumerian."

Zecharia Sitchin evidence is compelling and for the past 25 years I have read no serious refutation of his fundamental thesis - anywhere. No one can deny that every branch of humanity has looked to the heavens for solutions to daily living. This gives a different meaning to "swords are beat into ploughs/plows" with the coming of the Lord.
