As pen-l'ers know, I am no fan of Howard Dean. But there seems to be a little bit of demagogy going on here. Blacks and Latinos constitute no more than .05 of Vermont's population. Meanwhile Sharpton endorsed the racist Al D'Amato for Senator in 1986.
