Interim Results Are In

A short time ago, some participants were arguing that immediate US withdrawal from Iraq would "destabilize" the country and damage the inhabitants.   The GAO has issued a report, available at:http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d04902r.pdf  that shows just how beneficial the occupation has been, (and will continue to be).   I am not so foolish to think that those arguing for "stabilization" under US occupation will, having read this report, change their view, but I think it would be nice for them to explain the dismal reality in light of their previous arguments.
