For the NYT or WP, everything bad that happens in
China or Russia is the result of a nefarious plot
hatched in Beijing or Moscow. For the life of me I
can't understand why people who would be
hypersceptical over these papers' coverage of, say,
Venezuela cite them as impeachable sources on other
parts of the world.
