How did I argue that?

You seem to have a very confident idea of what is wrong with China's
current economic, social, and political structures.  My question for
you or anyone else wishing to answer it:

If you had been Deng Xiao Ping back in 1976, after Mao's death, what
would have you done to lead China towards socialism?  Would you have
committed suicide to let the Gang of Four lead China to socialism?
I'm just curious to see how you'd have pulled it off while avoiding
the growth of capitalist relations.

John and Ken, you have strong feelings about this.  If you can keep
them in check in your postings, then your points will be easier to
follow.
