Because I have begun to run out of space in my apartment and because I
lack the time to read them even if I live to 120, I am selling a bunch
of books listed in the spreadsheet linked to below:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p_8XFsqLNLA7LBTtGcnEJCg

The price in column 3 generally comes from the cover of the book and is
included for reference more than anything else. As a rule of thumb, my
price is half of the selling price for a used version of the book on
Amazon.com. So, for example, I am selling Robert Caro’s “The Power
Broker” (a biography of the weasel Robert Moses) for $4.25, while the
Amazon.com used price for the same book is $8.50. All books are
paperback, unless marked with an * in column 4.

Finally, I am more interested in making space in my apartment than
making money. I am anxious to move the books and will be open to any
reasonable offer. However, I am not interested in selling small
quantities of books since I don’t have time to wrap packages up and run
to the post office for 2 or 3 books. Ideally, I am looking for purchases
$100 and up. Although I doubt anybody would want to take the entire
inventory off my hands, I would be asking $1000 for all of them.
Considering that the list price for that would be over $13,000, I think
that is fairly reasonable.

There are no handling charges, just the postage it costs to mail the books.
