GMU is essentially a bunch of characters, different varieties of libertarian, 
but unusual in terms of subject matter.  Not like Chicago at all.

My favorite is Robin Hanson -- has contracted to have his head frozen when he 
dies, on the grounds that it could be reanimated, all the information 
downloaded to a computer, then revived in . . . some other form.  Has also 
speculated we are all in a 'Matrix-like' state.  Writes about prediction 
markets.
